My idea for the Alva pool issue is to use the $350,000 cash currently on hand to construct a splash pad. If it’s installed directly north of the city pool location it can be plumbed into existing water and sewage lines, and incorporated into the overall design of the water park at a later date.

The next step would be to close the pool for 1-2 seasons while we do some major fundraising. If businesses and individuals will host events and put out donation buckets, put money boxes at registers/counters, and establish an Alva Love Fund at the local banks we can pull together and get a very nice wat...
