Larry and Rita Wilcoxson of Alva are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Alisha to Patrick Brown of Shelby, North Carolina. Patrick is the son of David and Janet Brown.

The couple were married on June 1, 2019, in a beautiful and private family ceremony on the sands of Emerald Beach Resort in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Wedding receptions for the happy couple will be held in Shelby on Aug. 17 and in Alva at the First United Methodist Church on Sept. 21.
