OG&E offers relief from heat

Desiree Malicoat

Paul Weigl, on behalf of OG&E, presents Sarah Fletcher of Northwest Family Services with one of many fans that OG&E donated to aganices across their service area.

For the 13th year in a row, OG&E has donated more than 1,200 electric fans to agencies serving low-income and elderly clients in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The fan donations are part of OG&E's Silver Energy Program – an initiative that provides seniors with residential choices designed to increase comfort, safety and savings.

A number of these fans were delivered to Alva Northwest Family Services on Wednesday by Paul Weigl, a community affairs manage with OG&E. Fan distribution will be made based on the agency's criteria.

For more information on this program, contact Weigl at 405-823-7286 or [email protected].
