Burlington School Board approves bid on bus barn, hires daycare staff, accepts resignation

• School has three rental properties ready for new employees

 


Burlington Board of Education President Terry Graham called a special meeting of the board to order the morning of July 26. All members attended, including April Kisling, Aaron Smith, T.J. Rockenbach and Robert Hill. Superintendent Dr. Stacey Croft was also present along with Minutes Clerk Tamre McGinnis.

A bid was awarded for the new bus barn. The board approved the bid from Rieger Welding for the bus barn in the amount of $397,240. Rieger Welding was reportedly the only bidder for the project.
