Former Alvan Roxie Faulkner Kirk's first novel is "The Red Dirt Hymnbook." She returns to Alva for a book signing at the Graceful Arts Gallery for the August First Friday Art Walk. Her husband Brett attends with her. They are joined by Roxie's biggest fan – her mother Barbara Faulkner who still lives in Alva.
