A Dacoma man lost his life in a tanker truck rollover Sunday. The wreck occurred at 12:11 a.m. on a county road northwest of Thomas in Custer County.

Chad Hillman, 52, of Dacoma, was pronounced dead at the scene due to head and trunk internal injuries. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports Hillman was driving a 2007 Mack tanker truck southbound on the county road and failed to negotiate a curve causing the semi to roll three-quarters times, coming to rest on its side. Hillman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
