Educational foundation donates school supplies

Freedom students, teachers, staff and community members are gearing up for the upcoming school year. Each year the Freedom Educational Foundation (FEF) gathers supplies for students to gift on the first day of school.
Aug. 19 isn't that far away so community members Jan Eden and Sharon Walker have been filling school supply sacks. For the past 15 years, Walker has asked for lists from teachers and Eden and Walker shop, buy and organize each student bag. By doing so families are relieved of some financial burden that can come with buying school supplies.
