Bergs celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Dean and Charlene Berg of Helena, Oklahoma, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Helena United Methodist Church located at 5th and Kingman streets in Helena.
Verlin Dean Berg and Betty Charlene Smith were married on Aug. 15, 1959; they have lived their entire life in the Helena community.
The reception will be hosted by their children, Paula (Phillip) Burkes of Helena and Charlie (Robin) Berg of McWillie.
The Bergs have four grandchildren, Ty Burkes, Teague (Jessi) Burkes, Zach (Riki) Berg and Hannah (Lawson) Thompson.
They have five great-grandchildren, Blakely Riggs, Henry Dean Burkes, Lincoln Burkes, Reece and Noah Berg.
