At the Woods County commissioners' regular Monday morning meeting Aug. 12, commissioners John Smiley, David Hamil and Chairman Randy McMurphy approved transferring funds in the amount of $30,000 to purchase a Mack truck for District 3.
The commissioners also approved action in District 3 to bid out ID#312-39 Cat Loader, as this item is surplus.
Also present during the meeting were Rudy Briggs and Keith Dale, who met with the commissioners and discussed sandblasting the jail. The estimate for just sandblasting is $24,000. The commissioners approved action to start the bid process....
