Officials say no misconduct in suicide death of teen inmate

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Officials say an investigation has found no misconduct by employees at the Oklahoma County Jail in the death of a teenage inmate who apparently took his own life.
The Oklahoman reports that Annette Jacobi, director of the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth, told jail officials on Monday that investigators reviewed surveillance videos and other documentation before closing the investigation into the death of 16-year-old John Leroy Daniel Applegate.
