Lockdown of inmates at James Crabtree Correctional has been lifted

Helena – The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has transferred more than a dozen inmates from James Crabtree Correctional Center to facilities across the state on the heels of a physical altercation inside the prison Wednesday afternoon where four inmates were injured in two separate altercations minutes apart.

“Correctional officers acted quickly and professionally, ending the fights before anyone was seriously injured,” ODOC Interim Director Scott Crow says.
