Jury considering death sentence in Oklahoma deputy's slaying

GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) — Jurors are considering recommending the death sentence for a man convicted of shooting an Oklahoma sheriff's deputy to death.

Jury deliberations began Thursday in the trial of 47-year-old Nathan LeForce, who was convicted of first-degree murder in the April 18, 2017, fatal shooting of 40-year-old Logan County Deputy David Wade.

LeForce was found guilty on Aug. 20 after jurors viewed evidence over six days, including body camera video that showed Wade being fatally wounded while serving an eviction notice at a home near Mulhall, 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of Oklahoma C...
