The Alva Garden Council has selected Beadles Nursing Home as Alva's Blooming Business of the Month for August. Marietta Lynch, the garden's designer, has created a lovely floral display in the raised brick planters in front of the building. They overflow with hot pink and white periwinkles interspersed with orange marigolds. She has also created lovely groupings of lime and black sweet potato vines complemented by red cockscomb plants in the eight urns that decorate the front lawn of the building.
