"It's lots of fun," Jim Blevins said of his passion for owning Corvettes, "America's" sports car.

The 2010 model (see photo) that he bought in Tulsa is the fifth Corvette he's owned and he displayed it at the park in Kiowa Sunday during the town's annual Labor Day Classic Car Show.

Blevins had fun joining the Corvette Caravan, which happens every five years. He got on at Elk City with about 20 cars, which grew to some 150 in Oklahoma City. By the time the caravan reaches Bowling Green, Kentucky, where Corvettes are made an estimated 5,000 of those timeless favorites will be there.
