Lifelong Kiowa resident Mary June Terwort celebrated her 95th birthday in Kiowa's Progress Park on Labor Day with family and friends. Terwort has been an integral part of this community longer than the Labor Day Celebration itself, which turned 80 this year. She was instrumental in getting Kiowa's General Store started and kept it thriving many years.
Terwort's 90-year-old sister Joan Martin was also able to come to the birthday party in the park....
