The Waynoka school board held its September meeting at 7 a.m. Monday. Kris Richardson from Joe D. Hall General Contractors LLC was there to give an update on the bond-funded construction at the school.

Among the issues Richardson and his team are still struggling with are:

• A visit from the fire marshal, who came Friday. An emergency light proved to be not working. The fire marshal was expected to return later that day.

• The painters worked through the weekend. There are too many loose ends, details Richardson is not happy with.
