At the Woods County commissioners' regular Monday morning meeting Sept. 9, commissioners John Smiley, David Hamil and Chairman Randy McMurphy rejected bid regarding a Cat loader (bid No. 19-20-03), due in part to receiving one bid under value.
Also during the meeting the commissioners rejected the one bid they received for sandblasting and painting bids for Alva’s jail. The commissioners approved a contract between the Waynoka police department and county sheriff to house inmates in the Woods County Jail while sandblasting and painting the jail....
