ECU Women's Soccer Defeats Oklahoma Christian

EDMOND, Okla. – The East Central University soccer team claimed its first victory of the 2019 season, defeating Oklahoma Christian 1-0.


ECU – 1st – 33:41 – Goal by Aubrey Leveling (1), Assisted by Kay Woodring (1)

Sr. Aubrey Leveling scored the first goal of the season for the Tigers (1-2)

Sr. Kay Woodring earned the first assist of the year

The win breaks a two-match losing streak to the Eagles (0-3)

OC held a slight edge in shots, 11-9 overall and 4-3 in shots on goal

Leveling led ECU with three shots, one on goal (scored)

So. Lorianne Baugh was the only other Tiger with more than one shot

2 shots, 1 shot on goal

Jr. Allie Verner is the other ECU player to garner a shot on goal (1)

Jr. Mollie Nance garnered her first career win and first solo shutout victory

In 2018 she was part of a shutout victory, but did not earn the win in goal

Recorded four saves on all four shots she faced
