Wheatland Republican Women hold first meeting of the 2019-2020 year

Members of the Wheatland Republican Women began the 2019-20 year with a luncheon meeting at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Runnymede in Alva.
Landry Gaddy, recipient of the Wheatland Republican Women's 2019-20 Scholarship, presented her winning essay on the topic of border security measures and funding. Gaddy is a freshman at Northwestern Oklahoma State University majoring in biology.
Following the program, President Jane McDermott called the business meeting to order. The minutes of the April 3 meeting were read and approved and the treasurer's report was given.
