Burlington School has a new principal this year. Tim Bart has come from a big school and wants to finish his career in a small community. He has previously been at Tulsa Edison, Moore, Tulsa Will Rogers, and Bartlesville. He has always coached and taught at big schools.

Bart has been in the education system for 24 years, mostly as a basketball coach.

When asked what he likes about Burlington, Bart said he likes the small town atmosphere. "I have met some very friendly people since I have moved here and I find the students very well-mannered and nice," he said.

His hobbies are golfing, team roping, cooking, bird hunting and watching sporting events. Bart grew up in Inola around wheat farming and indicated this area feels like home. Welcome home, Mr. Bart.
