Nine teams and five individuals from Alva, Waynoka and Freedom 4-H and FFA participated in the Woods County Fair Livestock Judging Contest on Sept. 7.
In the Senior FFA division, Alva FFA placed first with the team of Cooper Sneary, Tara Owen, Colby Mackey and Ashlyn Holloway. Second place went to Waynoka FFA: Tayen Redgate, Brooke Ferguson, Hunter Durkee and Makinze Smith.
High individual in the Senior FFA went to Tara Owen, Colby Mackey was second, third to Cooper Sneary all from Alva. Tayen Redgate, fourth, Brooke Ferguson, fifth and Hunter Durkee sixth, all from Waynoka.
