The regular meeting of the Alva Tourism Committee Sept. 18 had no funding requests on the agenda. However, a special meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 25, with five requests. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.

The Alva Chamber will be requesting funds not to exceed $6,000 for a Chamber and Northwest Oklahoma Visitors Center secretary.

The Chamber will also ask for $1,400 for advertising in the Red Carpet Country 2020 Visitors Guide.

NWOSU Ranger Rodeo is requesting up to $15,000 for their event.
