Rangers Soccer falls in close match to St. Mary's

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Rangers came into this soccer match looking to win their second straight, but the Rattlers would escape the match with a 2-1 win.

"So, obviously disappointed not to walk away with any result from the match," head coach Erik Solberg stated. "I thought we were the better team throughout. We had the run of play and more chances in the game, but give St. Mary's credit – they had three shots on goal and scored on two of them.”

Northwestern tried to get a head early by getting the first three shots of the game in the first 12 minutes. They would not allow their first shot agains...
