Kason Cook Wins MSSU Invitational; Dawgs Finish Fifth

MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – SWOSU senior golfer Kason Cook picked up his first collegiate victory on Tuesday as he topped the field at the Missouri Southern Invitational by two strokes. The tournament was shortened to two rounds after the final round was cancelled due to inclement weather on Tuesday.

In his two rounds at Shangri-La, Cook had scores of 70 and 66, with allowed him to finish eight-under par for the tournament, which was two shots better than Jacob Lackey of Central Oklahoma.
