COLBY, Kan. – Dylan Riggins and Mason Ward led the men's team with second-place finishes in the bareback riding and bull riding, respectively, while Cierra Doyal paced the women's squad with a runner-up finish of her own in the goat tying in the team's season-opening event in Colby, Kan.
Riggins posted a 70 in his first-round ride in the bareback event to finish fifth in the round. He followed that up with a 68 in the finals and his 138 combined score was good for second overall in the event for the weekend.
