Funeral services for Bobby Leo Sutherland will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the Waynoka First Baptist Church with Bill David Walker officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka LLC.
Bobby Leo Sutherland, son of Susie (Inman) Sutherland and the late Leo Sutherland, was born July 1, 1949, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, and passed away September 24, 2019, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 23 days.
Bobby went to Cheyenne Valley School through the eighth grade and graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1967. On September 2, 1967, he was united in marriage to Larinda Gayle Secrest in Waynoka. They moved to Buffalo where he worked as a barber. After a time, they returned to Waynoka where he engaged in ranching, raising mostly cattle and pigs. He also operated an outfitter service.
Bobby was an avid outdoorsman and as such, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, hunting rattlesnakes, and hunting for arrowheads. He coached baseball and always loved spending time with his grandkids. He always watched the Oklahoma University Sooner football team.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle.
Bobby is survived by three daughters, Lori Adair and husband Jay (of Waynoka), Tambi Brown and husband Billy (of Enid), and Cassi Bouziden and husband Mitchell (of Waynoka); his mother, Susie Sutherland (of Woodward); his sister, Connie Redgate and husband Steve (of Waynoka); and six grandchildren, Jake Adair, Taggart, Brenli, and Taelyn Brown, and Temperance Bouziden; other relatives and friends.
