ALVA, Okla. – Garrison Blanton of the Northwestern Oklahoma State men’s cross country team finished in first place at the NWOSU Invitational at the Alva Golf Course Friday afternoon.

The Rangers placed in each of the top six spots, winning the team battle against Redlands Community College 15 points to 49 points.

Blanton turned in a time of 28:38.75, defeating the rest of the pack by at least two minutes and 12 seconds. Deven Marshall placed second with a time of 30:50.07, while Moses Ortega had a time of 31:03.06 to place third.
