Garcia leads Northwestern in runner-up finish

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State women’s cross country team finished in second place at the NWOSU Invitational at the Alva Golf Course Friday afternoon.
The Rangers were led by Jasmin Garcia, who finished in fourth place. Garcia turned in a 5,000-meter time of 20:38.83, which was 50.75 seconds off the winner Rebekah Christman from Southeastern Oklahoma State.
Southeastern Oklahoma State won the team contest by placing four in the top-five and six in the top-10. Northwestern placed second, while Southwestern Oklahoma State came in third place.
