The Presbyterian Women group held a Girls Night Out at the Rialto recently to view the Christian movie "Overcomer." Presbyterian Women's (PW) first fall meeting was held on Sept. 17. Continuing the tradition of "Girls Night Out" was a little special this year. Ordinarily the group meets at the church for food, fellowship and a movie. This fall, however, tradition was not totally observed. The group chose to attend the movie "Overcomer," which was showing at the Rialto movie theater in Alva.

"Overcomer," a Christian movie, had been recommended to churches. The Alva Presbyterian Women agreed the movie was exceptional and presented an outstanding message of hope, humor and heart.

Those who enjoyed the evening were Kerri Bell, Phyllis Brunsteter, Jewel Conner, Ella Jaunita Evans, Ida Evans, Joy Glass, Patty Harkin, Della Miller, Elaine Schnebel, Cindy Self, Kathy Jo Watkins, and Norma Wilhite.
