Sunday afternoon about 4:10, a single vehicle accident occurred 1 mile northeast of Kiowa, Kansas, on KS-2 at mile post 13.5. The crash resulted in a temporary power outage for the towns of Kiowa and Burlington.

KHP Trooper Charley Brattin worked the accident. He said that Cullen Reynolds, 20, of Belle Plaine, was driving a 2008 Toyota Tundra northeast on KS-2.
