Jack Morris (60), Jason Schnoebelen (54) and other Bearcats stay strong on the defensive line.

Mooreland scored first with a short run by Carter Sampson and a quick two points made the score in the first minutes of the game 8-0. The quarter ended with the Bearcats knocking on the door after a nice gain of 20 yards by Kaden Overton that ended at the two yard line.

The Bearcats scored within seconds of the second quarter; two extra points brought the score to 16-0. The half ended with Sampson intercepting the ball and running it into the end zone. The extra point was foiled and the half ended 22-0 in Mooreland's favor.

Chisholm never got their offense moving and by the end of the game the score read 30-0.

The JH Bearcats have played six games and their record is five wins, one loss. Their final games are Oct. 14 at Thomas and Oct. 22 against Sayre at Mooreland. The Thomas game begins at 5:30 p.m. with elementary and JH after; and the Sayre game (just one game that night) begins at 6:30 p.m.
