DURANT, Okla. – Following its 2018-19 performance which included a run to second-round of the Central Region Tournament, Southeastern men's basketball has been named the favorite to win the Great American Conference heading into the 2019-20 season according the league's preseason poll released on Thursday.

The Savage Storm edged out Southern Nazarene for the top spot, earning 118 points and eight of the 12 first-place votes.
