NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi band playing at Natchez's annual hot air balloon festival played an impromptu concert from a balloon soaring above the festival site.

Two members of hometown band Bishop Gunn went for their first ride in a hot air balloon Saturday.

To celebrate the occasion, the Natchez Democrat reports that lead singer Travis McCready and guitarist Drew Smithers played a guitar and harmonica from the air. Then, they joined band members Burne Sharpe and Ben Lewis to play a full concert to a packed crowd on the festival site Saturday night.

From the hot air balloons, passengers can see all of Natchez, Vidalia and Ferriday.
