Rev. Randy Foote is the new interim pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Alva.
Since Zion Lutheran's pastor Aaron Wagner has answered a call to a church in Salina, Kansas, Rev. Randy Foote has come to Alva to act as interim pastor at Zion Lutheran while the church works through the sometimes length process of finding a new permanent pastor.
From Michigan to Alva, Via the Kennedy Space Center
Foote is originally from Michigan, but he moved to Florida when he was young, eventually obtaining a computer science degree from the University of Central Florida.
During those young adult years, he did hear a call from the Lord, but didn't follow up on it.
