Chief Financial Officer Kevin O’Brien will be leaving Share Medical Center for a position as CEO of the hospital in Buffalo. O’Brien said he grew up in that area and will be living close to his parents who are growing older. The news was announced during the Alva Hospital Authority (AHA) meeting Tuesday evening, Oct. 22.

Former AHA board member Steve Knox, an accountant, was present at the meeting where he received a stack of paperwork nearly a foot tall. He has been asked to fill O’Brien’s position at the hospital on an interim basis and is familiarizing himself with the work involved.
