Harding spoils Ranger homecoming 47-13

Ranger Kentrez Bell catches the touchdown pass from Trent Easley in NWOSU's game against Harding Saturday.

The Northwestern Rangers hosted the Harding Bison Saturday afternoon for homecoming. Although the score was close at the half, Harding shut out the Rangers in the second half for a final of 47-13.

Harding's Malik Mathews rushed for nine yards to put the first points on the board. The Grant Ennis kick was blocked by Aharon Barnes.

A showy play by the Rangers put them just a yard from the goal. Trent Easley flipped the ball to Torrence Stevens who then threw downfield to Kentrez Bell for a gain of 68 yards. The Rangers couldn't capitalize on the great field position, settling for a field goal by...
