Cherokee FFA competes in regional contests

Cherokee FFA Greenhand member Abby Guffy took away third place overall at the Alva Regional Contest. Cherokee FFA Greenhand members competed at the Alva Regional Contest on Oct. 15. After a written quiz over FFA history, ten participants were chosen based on test scores for the oral portion of the contest. Abby Guffy placed third overall. Riley Hensley placed 7th overall. More than 40 students competed.
In addition, six Cherokee FFA members performed Opening and Closing FFA ceremonies. The team consisted of Brant Failes, Lexi Williams, Cherish Reeves, Taylor Reese, Riley Hensley and Abby Guffy.
