Cherokee FFA shooting sports members advance to state finals

Cherokee FFA members Treavor Green, Kacie Eshelman, Slade Hague and Jade Jantzen advanced to the State FFA Sporting Clays Competition, which will be held on No. 12 in Arcadia.
The senior team placed third overall at the northwest area sporting clays competition held in Fort Supply on Oct. 8. In addition, Green placed third high individual, and Eshelman was tied at fifth high individual.
The members have been practicing diligently for a spot at the state finals.
