Fans of Woods County author Sheldon Russell fans will have the opportunity to visit with him at a book signing this week during the First Friday Art Walk in Alva. He will have his latest book, “A Forgotten Evil,” available. Russell weaves a generous amount of historical research into his fictional story set in the American West right after the end of the Civil War. It’s the sort of book that’s hard to put down. I wrote a review just after the book was released earlier this month so I won’t go into a lot of detail now.
