The Cherokee Strip Museum on 14th Street in Alva is known for programs that bring history to life. This weekend, the museum is presenting “Our Haunted History.” The tours feature local legends, historical hauntings and supernatural stories from Alva and surrounding area.

Tickets are $10, and only 50 spots per hour are available. Reports from the first night Oct. 29 indicate an entertaining program.

The haunting will continue this weekend with tours at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, and on Sunday afternoon at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. The program is not suggested...
