OC Soccer: Late rally at Eastern New Mexico keeps Eagles' postseason hopes alive

PORTALES, N.M. (Oct. 31, 2019) – Needing a win to keep alive their postseason hopes, the Oklahoma Christian Eagles came through in dramatic fashion on Thursday night at Greyhound Stadium.

Taking advantage of two big breaks, OC erased a two-goal deficit in the final 33 minutes and Carlos Trapero scored the decisive goal in the 87th minute as the Eagles stunned Eastern New Mexico 3-2.

OC (5-8, 2-5 Lone Star Conference) snapped a five-game skid and moved into seventh place in the LSC with six standings points. The top six teams will advance to the LSC postseason soccer tournament, with West Texas...
