Can of beer leads to felony arrest

A Kansas man is facing a felony charge in Woods County after visiting Little Sahara State Park at Waynoka.
According to court records, on Sept. 27, Park Ranger Brittany N. Penix was on patrol in the sand dune all-terrain vehicle riding area with Sgt. Spencer when she observed male and female subjects standing near their black, two seat ATV, which was parked near a tree. She observed a tall can in a drink koozie sitting on the dashboard of the ATV. As Spencer drove up next to the ATV, Penix observed the drink was beer. Alcohol is posted as being prohibited in the sand dune ATV riding area.
