Rangers run over by Bison 34-25

NWOSU went head-to-head against the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison Saturday afternoon in Alva, losing 34-25. NWOSU senior Jacob Peyton dodges a tackle from an OBU Bison as he heads toward the end zone in Saturday afternoon's game.

The Northwestern Rangers hosted the Oklahoma Baptist Bison Saturday afternoon at Ranger Field. OBU led 28-10 at the half. Although NWOSU held the Bison scoreless in the third quarter, they couldn't overcome the first half deficit and lost 34-25.

OBU put the first two touchdowns on the scoreboard. T. Stuever made a 56 yard run with 9:59 on the clock, and L. Wendl's kick was good for a 7-0 lead. The Bison scored again at the 5:24 mark on a one yard run by Stuever and the point after kick by Wendl for a score of 14-0 in OBU's favor.
