An inmate at James Crabtree Correctional Center (JCCC) in Helena has been charged with felony assault. He is accused of physically attacking two correctional security officers at the facility.

According to court records, the incidents occurred on Oct. 16. Correctional Security Officer I William Dunlap was inside the office working as the unit 2 officer. At 3:20 p.m. inmate Billy Mason is seen on unit camera footage knocking on the officer work station door.
