Funds collected during the months of April through September will go towards the upcoming park renovation plan. The City of Alva has developed a family friendly vision for the Alva Bud Rose Memorial Park, located at the corner of Barnes and Logan Street, focusing on fitness and recreation.
The Bud Rose Memorial Park was dedicated to Alva by the family of Albert Lee "Bud" Rose. Bud was born on June 5, 1925, in Woods County.
