Aline-Cleo presents Veterans Day program

Ryan Hammer, history teacher at Aline-Cleo, along with his military history students, presented the Veterans Day program honoring the community veterans.

The speaker was Jimmy Mull, who served in the Air Force for 26 years and retired as a senior master sergeant. He worked as an air traffic controller and as an evaluator weapons director aboard the AWACS. Currently he serves as the chief of police for Fairview.

Hammer served in the Air Force as a Security Forces member and attained the rank of senior airman. His military history class has been learning about the origination of the military, the different branches, military discipline and the importance of the American flag.

The veterans were treated to lunch after the program.
