On Thursday, Nov. 7, South Barber FFA members Ruston Erikson, Takira Blick, Kate Perschbacher, Tyler Schupbach, and Lacee Wolf attended the annual Kansas Governor's Water Conference held in Wichita, Kansas, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. A youth program titled Kansas Youth Water Advocates Conference was held in conjunction with the main conference.
Students sat in on the opening morning general session where they had the opportunity to hear Mayor Jeff Longwell of Wichita and Kansas Lieutenant Governor Lynn Rogers, along with others, address the nearly 500 in attendance. South Barber members also...
