Woods County board changes tax roll designations

The Woods County Tax Roll Corrections Board met Monday to update information on seven parcels of land. Chairman Randy McMurphy, Bob Seivert and Assessor Renetta Benson were present as members of the committee. County Clerk Shelley Reed also attended and took minutes.
The first parcel of land needed to be removed from the tax roll because it should be designated as tax exempt. Benson said this was overlooked earlier. The change was approved with $147 removed from taxes.
