WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Police in Wichita say a 28-year-old woman has been stabbed to death.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the woman, whose name has not yet been released, died Saturday morning at a Wichita hospital.

Police say officers were called just after 4 a.m. Saturday to a home for a report of a cutting. Responding officers found the woman inside with multiple stab wounds.

Police say a 44-year-old man who was at the home was being interviewed by detectives.

No arrests had been reported by midday Saturday, but police say the killing was not a random act....
