Jay Heinrich of Blackwell crafts three-dimensional leather fine art pieces like this water buffalo. His work is on display this month at the Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva.

Jay Heinrich is a rarity. He doesn't know of anyone else doing the kind of three-dimensional leather art he does at the same level. Looking at his art, on display at Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva this month, one sees a unique art form and careful attention to detail. But Heinrich is somewhat new to being an artist.
